Chain link post caps are frequently used for fence terminal posts, end, corner, and gate posts. They are also used on gates, kennel panels, and bumper posts. They simply tap on snugly with a hammer or pliers. We recommend aluminum caps for residential chain link jobs and pressed steel caps for commercial jobs, one per post. Pipe and tubing plugs are another option for 'capping' an exposed pipe, or tube. Note: Post caps are designed to slide over the post, that is they fit on the outside.
