The controller must be mounted so that water does not leave the controller. Failure to comply with the specified installation conditions can cause water to enter, which can lead to failures and long-term damage to the unit. For better performance, position the controller so that air can flow through and around the box, especially if it is mounted on the rudder. If the controller is mounted in a tray or cavity, make sure there are adequate drain holes around the controller to prevent liquids from accumulating around the controller. A location near the battery and motor is recommended to minimize the length of high current cables. Use two screw positions to connect the controller. Hollow head screws are recommended. The length of the screw should be between 4 and 6 mm. Do not tighten the mounting screws too much.
