While lighter in construction than our rapid action woodworking vices, this vice is ideal for the beginning woodworker or hobbyist. Body and jaws are quality castings fitted with two steel slide bars, an acme threaded main screw, and steel sliding handle. The Eclipse vice is portable, features an integral clamp that allows you to clamp onto Bench tops up to 2-1/4 inch thick, and has predrilled holes for permanent Bench mounting If desired. Jaws are 6" x 2", open to 5", and are pre-drilled for the addition of Wooden faces.
